Open Question: I don't know what to do anymore?

Two years a go I meet a lady and I felt in adore with her, after few months she told me that, originally, she was born a man and had the operation to became a lady. I loved so much and I did not mind about that, but we had the most unsettle relation as she run a way and arrive back 5 time she can change from glad to depress in matter of minute and with out any reason, she may be very glad and every it take to change is a word or a look or just nothing, and she will attack me and look me like her worst foe, offending and shouting at me, she will not reason, she may go out every day and snooze in another room and the next day it will be like it never happen, but she adore me very much and so do I. Two months a go we decide to receive married because she said that she will feel more secure and trust me more, and she swear she will not run away anymore. Less then a month after we got married she has run away to Brazil where her family live, she been there for over tree weeks. I told her not to came back but again she told me that she adore me very much and it is not her but the hormone that make her do that. I know that it is true but I am in pieces and start to feel depress to as I don't know what will happen next. Last week she told me that she will buy a ticket the next day and arrive back because she missing me so much, but I have not heard from her for days try to phone, but her mob is off, email her but no replay. She has done this before so I am not new to this, but I can’t help to feel worry not knowing what is happening, is she coming back? She has changed her mind? Is something happen? I don't know what to do anymore. Part of me wont to tell her to go to hell but another part can’t live with out her, I feel like a fool but I know she lose control because the way she is, but it is effecting me more then I thought, as I can’t look a future like this. Any suggestions???

Open Question: My dad is lazy and unsociable and my mum has to do everything! Help!?

Okay I'll try and keep this as short as poss. Basically, my mum has worked at a school for like 5 years and my dad joined the same school doing the same type of thing last sept. So if anything mum has a bit bigger of a workload than him. (He used to work in car sales, working like 9-6, with like 3 weeks off a year. But he used to be a workaholic). However, when they receive home, dad sits on the computer while mum cooks, cleans, irons, washes, does everything. Then dinner is ready, we every eat, then dad gets up, sits on computer or playstation till like 8 or 9, then sits infront of the TV and chooses what we watch for the evening unless theres nothing he likes on - in that case he goes on the playstation until he goes to bed. He is a lazy twat. I've only noticed it so much this year because him and mum are both off for the 6 weeks school holidays, whereas before he didnt have that long off. On these off days, he does hardly anything. He'll help mum trim some trees, then he'll sit on the computer every day. Its ridiculous, I don't know how my mum stands it. She does everything. My sister is just as lazy as my dad, spending everything she earns on herself even though she knows we don't have money to spare at the moment. Right now I'm searching desperately for a job just so I can take my mum out and buy her lunch or gifts and pay rent. A couple of times recently though mum has said stuff like "Yeah well, when hes living alone he'll appreciate every that I do" or like "maybe I won't put up with it much longer". It's really terrifying me that they'll divorce. I'm a complete baby and I don't even know how I'd deal with that. Every now and then I hint to dad that hes being a bit lazy and how he should do something, but he literally just ignores it. And also, our family is really big so we have quite a few family parties, but he always tries and makes excuses not to go. Like, "I don't like Jane, so I'm not going." Its like, well you dont have to talk to her you childish fool. ARGH. Something literally needs to be done. Help, please :(

Open Question: Illegal to take theses pictures?

The neighbors are taking pictures of minors below 18 while playing outside with the dog, or playing ball even while they are swimming in the family pool. The neighbors build a fort for their kids but they just receive in it to take pictures right inside of my pool from their possess yard. We planted a tree today so it would block their View down into our pool since they take pictures and yell some very sexual harassing words to my kids and they got really upset. There kids came running down their fort saying mommy mommy they planted a tree so we wont be able to look(they are saying this while we are outside) then they run up to the fence shaking it and yelling things to make my dog go crazy and bark at them then the mom says receive the camera and starts taking pictures of me and my kids and my dog. I know something here has to be illegal. I mean the called the sheriff today and we didn't do anything except my teenage daughter stuck up for her and her little sister and said don't be taking pictures of us you perverted dumb B****. Something here is illegal or can they receive away with this every the time?

Open Question: Does who think the Bible is inerrancy, can answer me at this two question?

It's the genealogy of Jesus. If God inspired the author of the Gospel Luke to be infallible, why did he make at least a mistake with the official genealologies that are reported to the Bible? One is in Luke 3:36, and that's how every the english Bibles rend the verse : "Shelah was the son of Cainan. Cainan was the son of Arphaxad" But actually, the name Cainam in this part is WRONG. If we look the original biblical genealogies, we look that the name Cainan doesn't appear nowhere between Arphaxad and Shelah: "Arphaxad was the dad of Shelah" (Genesis 10:24) "Arphaxad was the dad of Shelah." (1Chronicles 1:18) "So this is the family line descended from Shem: Arphaxad, Shelah" (1Chronicles 1:24) This is what is write in the hebrew masoretic text. But actually the greek text of these parts of Genesis and Chronicles report a Cainan between the two names. But so, we have a double problem: 1) If the greek text and Luke are correct, the hebrew masoretic text is in mistake. How can be? Doesn't God itself insipired the original hebrew form? If ths is the prove that the hebrew text that we have now is been corrupted how we can trust the masoretic test for everything else? It wasn't the Almighty God capable to prevent the interpolation of his word by human hand if was his desire to protect and leave it untoucheable for not make himself wrong? 2) Luke and the greek text were wrong and the masoretic text divinely correct and infallible. But so, was Luke the one who was not divinely inspired, or we must to admit that God itself can make mistakes. The other one is similar, we find it in Luke 3:33 "Amminadab was the son of Admin. Admin was the son of Arni". We find an Admin that should be son of Arni and dad of Amminadab, but even this time the name doesn't appear in the official biblical list of names, that omit this name: "Ram the dad of Amminadab" (Ruth 4:19) "Ram was the dad of Amminadab" (1Chronicles 2:10) Actually this time, not every the Bibles have the name Admin between the name Ammindaband Arni because this name doesn't appear in every the gospel of Luke manuscripts. But even Tischendorf and Westcott and Hort critical text, include the name Admin as the nearer version of the original gospel, critical text which are traduct most of the Bible of the world. So, are three the things : 1) Luke is right and the Old Testament hebrew masoretic text is wrong. But since God itself divinely inspired of his inerrancy even the Old Testament is not possibile this option. 2) Luke is wrong and the Old Testamente text is right. But so, is Luke the one who's not divinely inspired. 3) Since the name doesnt appear in every manuscript, it's just an mistake of the copist. But so why such an mistake and spurious variant is included in the official critical text of Westcott and Hort and Tischendorf and in mosto of the Bible in the world? Maybe it is not wrong at every. Or simply, both Bibles and manuscripts are untrustable beacuse we don't actually know what is corrupted and what no, since there's no survive of the original writings of the new testament but only copies of the copies of the copies. A christian can always say : "But why I should be worried about this stuff? This is not will change my spiritual life and relationship with God for sure" Well, Actually, it is important, because looks like the people that have change even one single letter to the bible and the people that believe in that corrupted text are going to suffer the curse described in Revelation 22:18-19 "I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If any one of you adds anything to them, God will add to you the plagues described in this scroll. And if any one of you takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from you your share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. " So, if you don't want to go to Hell...better that you know too whats the really original text and if you can trust in your translated bible or not, because is in game the destiny of your soul. And the inerrancy of God itself, of course. Wefmeister : if Genealogies are just foolishness I wonder why Luke, Matthew and every the other author's of the Bible where such worried to write it in the first place....

Hi! So its summer and I wanted to go to camping with my family. I have gone camping once with my pal and they did every the reservation and everything.. so I have no clue what to do(I wil be going alone with my family). Open Question: A Northern girl in Mississippi?

I'm from Iowa and I just accepted a job outside of Meridian, MS. I'm looking forward to it but many of my friends and family have cringed when I've told them the news. I realize the taxes are lower, which means the buildings and roads probably won't be kept as well as other states and so on. It doesn't sound like the public education is the greatest, but I don't have kids and don't plan on them for quite a while. I'm really not worried about it. The hiring manager said it might take a while for me to adjust to the slower pace in MS. But I'm from rural Iowa. It's a slow paced environment with a bunch of "country folk," haha. It gets hot there in the summer and the humidity's bad there too. Right now I'm living in California in a busy city for an internship. There's too many people here and I'm looking forward to every the forests and spacious land. I adore the idea of looking out of my home and seeing nothing but pine trees and hills. So how do you think I'll adjust? Will I fit in well? I'm basically an Iowa country girl. Although I have nothing of a southern drawl so I'll at least sound different. I'm honestly looking forward to making the move down to Mississippi and starting my new job.

On July 18th, my 16th birthday. i've traveled to Egypt only once. Upon me making my second trip, one of my sims, Mizan Lawson, his name was changed to Mizan Kamel. and i was really confused, so I looked at the family tree and then he had a son! Ahmad Kamel. who is from Egypt. this did not happen until I got to egypt my second time. This is impossible because he just became a young adult, and he was a teenager the last time they went to Egypt, and Ahmad's mom is an old lady AND she is dead...also Ahmad has two adult aged brothers and one of them is the special merchant. im just really confused and I don't know how this happened, has this happened to anyone else? Open Question: I need some advice on what is happening with my eyes?

On sunday i was shocked when a bolt of lightening hit a tree out side my home. within a sec of it hitting i was on the ground. Im assuming i got knocked out because i don't remember much of it. my family came and got me and i felt fine. i went to the er and was checked out they said everything looked good after taking blood work and doing an EKG. its now wednesday and here is what is bothering me. Starting on tuesday which was yesterday my depth perception has been way off. it kinda gets me dizzy. now today It is even worse things are getting blurry and than go back to normal, plus my depth perception is still every wacky. Any advice? maybe im just over reacting im not sure what i should do.

Open Question: Can a lot of exercise make your period come latter or not come at all?

I was so excited to go camping with my family, then I realized we are going right when my period is going to arrive, and that would ruin the whole thing, like we are supposed to go hiking every day long, and the only bathroom place would be behind a tree, so I wouldn't be able to go to that, and I wouldn't be able to go swimming in the lake, and I would have awful pain the whole time Im there. So I really need a way to either skip my period or make it arrive a week latter. I hear that a lot of exercise can skip it, is that true? If not what ways can I skip it or make it arrive latter? Oh and we are leaving on August 7th, so I need something that could work before than. Thanks

Open Question: Worried about pm doctor not continuing my pain treatment?

Ok, here is my situation that I never thought would ever be. I have been with my primary doctor for about 12 years now, and I thought she knew me well. I even thought of her as more of a pal. Over the last 3 years, I started having some major problems with my lower back, shoulders, and neck. So she set me up with a mri which did show a bulging disc. She sent me to physical therapy, and the shock treatment really helped, she also prescribed hydrocodone 5 that I had only had to take for a month, because I responded well with therapy. So about a year goes by and not having that much pain, I could take over the counter meds to suppress it. Then like lightning it strikes again. This time it gets so bad that my leg gives out on me and hurts. I can't snooze for days, and only certain things I did could give enough relief to where I was not screaming in pain. So I go back to her with every of this and she sets up another mri, which then shows two bulging disc and a hurniated disc. She again prescribes the same pain med and sets me up with the physical therapy which I am excited for because it helped before. This time it did not, and the therapyst said that my pelvic joint was popping out of my hip joint. So my doctor prescribes me a long acting pain med named kadian. I took it and it made me itch bad, so she prescribed claritin to help with the itch. Umm, needless to say, I will always have scars on my chest from digging. So she then started me on 20m of oxycontin for two weeks, and 40m for the next two weeks. It was amazing relief after the puking for a couple days. I am amazed on what I can do now that I have not been able to do for a while. So the refill time comes and no problems I receive my refill. About three weeks later, I find out that a family member is dying of cancer in another state and he was refusing hospice so it was up to us family members to go take care of him in his final days. So my turn of course was up and I call the office the day before leaving to look if they can send my prescription to me when it was due to be filled. Mind you I was without a vehicle this day and in a rush to receive things ready to leave. They tell me that they can not do that, and I said well, that is ok because I have to arrive back to the state for my bone scan anyway and I would just steer the extra 2 hours back home to look them. My doctor calls back and says I need to arrive in for a pill count. I had no problem with that other than I had no vehicle, and not ride and they closed in 2 hours, and I was told that she would not longer prescribe them unless I came in that day. She then tells me that I could arrive in the following day before leaving. I said ok that is fine I will just have my ride swing me by. Well low and behold that night we receive a call for every family members to arrive immediately, my uncle was not going to make it through the night. We every left within an hour, me not thinking twice, just knowing that my doctor would understand. So after the funeral and every, I arrive back home, and call my doctor and explain, she said that is fine I understand. So, I receive my next refill on the 12th of June. I had an appointment to go back to my neurosurgeon yesterday to read my results which quite frankly was devistating to me. Basically I have bad joints, degenerative disc disease, and my bone scan made me light up like a christmas tree. So I steer home crying most of the way. I look on my calendar and look where I had a doctors appointment scheduled for today with my primary doctor which was just going to be going over the same thing I went over with my ns. But I decided I needed to go anyway. So I wake up this morning and guess what my car will not start at every. I rush up and call in to reschedule my app. My doctor knowing that I just said my car broke down again, demanded me to make my appointment or she would not fill anymore meds ever. I can't make the appointment, I have no vehicle. I have never had to sign a contracts or agreement with her, but she said that I broke the contract. I never had to sign one. I was unaware that people even had to do this, I just always assumed that my doctor would know me after 12 years of never trying to receive meds. I am devistated and hurt that my doctor was so mean and accusing on the phone. At my appointment yesterday, I was told to receive a breast reduction and look a chiropracter regularly, and to continue my pain meds, and he was referring me to a pm doctor. I am just wondering if I am still going to be without what I have been used to for 2 months while I am going through the steps with the pm doctor. I have enough to last me until the 12th of August, but I am not sure how it will look to go in to the pm doctor and say this is what my old doctor has me on, but she is not going to give them to me anymore. What should I expect or do?

For example To Kill a Mocking Bird demonstrates the prejudice, growing up and family issue which happens not just in our society but every over the world. We can still look the prejudice against different races such as in Taiwan, majority of people are against people from Chine because of the different political belief. Growing up is one of the issue in To Kill a Mocking Bird which reveals us the lost of innocent when a child grow up turns to an adult. In the book Scout realizes the prejudice against people’s social status is in our society. She used to believe “folks are folks” but after Tom Robinson’s trial she understands that people look other in a particular view based on their social status. Scout and Jem also realize the meaning of courage that is to concur the thing that you believe in even though the possibility of achieving is very tiny from knowing Mrs.Dubose and observing their dad Atticus trying to rescue Tom from the unfair trial. We, as the young generation are growing up to reach the adulthood. We lost our innocent but also we gain knowledge. The family issue doesn’t take much attention in To Kill a Mocking Bird, but it actually has demonstrated the common family types and problem in the book. Our society is like a tree build by system, organs, tissue, the cell. Family is important because it breed the individual which makes up the society. Different family create different individual which has an impact of benefits the society or damages the society. It gives us the idea of the important of a family education and look the drawback of inappropriate family. The gift education encourages to admit our lack of knowledge by choosing the textbook that relate to our lives issue in order for us to look our blind side and using open-minded question to stimulate solution such as the Grade 10 English Textbook To Kill a Mocking Bird, has demonstrated prejudice, growing up and family issue which are also happening in our gift society. Open Question: Tips on stopping my puppy from digging up the garden?

I have a young puppy, she's about 6 months old. We've had her since she was 8 weeks old, but recently she's started digging holes in the garden. We're not really sure why she's doing it, we did have another dog a few years before we got her, so we figure maybe when my dad took out a tree in the garden she got the scent of him from when we put the tree in or something, and decided to start digging, or something like that. like i say, we're not sure why she's doing it. but my dad is going crazy with every the holes in the garden, and he says that if she doesn't cease soon we'll have to receive rid of her. (not like put her down, but let another family adopt her or something.) so i was wondering if anyone has any tips on stopping her from doing it? we've tried putting chili powder in the holes, but then she just digs new holes. please help!

Open Question: Bull riding... right or wrong?

This is up for debate: Is bull riding right? Or is it wrong. This week, I stayed with my cousins who live on a farm....... I was glad because I was meant to be a farm girl. ;) We went to the fair, and of course: they took me to a bull ride. I was thinking 'Uh ohh.......... I swore over my grave I would NEVER go to one of these' I found it was pretty exciting, until I saw the used bulls in a tiny pin with no food or water & I saw they looked unhappy... I just tried to keep my mind off of that. My sister turned around and looked at me & said I looked unhappy. I just told her I was sleepy. look, I'm nice of the tree hugger in my family... as I am a vegetarian, recycle, etc. The relax of my family: Carnivores, 'as long as the trash gets out of the home' nice of people, etc. nice of family..... ANYWAY... to the point. Who here thinks bull riding is wrong? Who thinks it's right. What about slaughter houses? Thank you :D. I have lived in Chicago my whole life and I hate watching the news hearing a news story about someone getting shot close to where my family lives or close to where other members of my family lives,I hate going out in public with family cause I don't know if that will be the last day I look them alive,and I don't know what might happen in a split second. Open Question: The Prophets (PBUH) smile!!!.....?

As we arrive home from work or university in our car, on the tube or on the bus, we’d be difficult-pressed to find a cheerful person. On the roads, everyone is rushing to receive home, honking their horns if someones cuts them off the road. On the tube, people are almost in a trance-like state, their faces expressionless. SubhanAllah, what has brought us to this state? Although we have health, wealth and every the conveniences we could ask for, sincere smiling faces are difficult to find. Are we that ungrateful for the innumerable blessings? What’s even worse is that many Muslims are now being drawn into this culture of depression. Our beloved Messenger (pbuh) was the opposite. Despite the hardships he faced, people always saw him in a cheery disposition. Abdullah ibn Haarith (ra) reports, “I did not look anyone who smiled more than the Messenger of Allah (pbuh).” (Tirmidhi) It is worthwhile to actually mention what hardships the Prophet (pbuh) went through- having his entire family and tribe turn against him, keep for a few people; being called names and being taunted, often in front of other people; being beaten and abused, along with the people who followed him; having to be a victim of several assassination attempts; losing his beloved wife, who he had been married to for 25 years, when he needed her more than ever; his uncle passing away in a state of kufr; his other uncle Hamza being killed and mutilated in battle; having to flee from his home; having so little food that the Prophet (pbuh) and the companions (ra) had to tie stones to their stomachs and eat leaves from the trees; being severely injured in the battle of Uhud, such that his helmet clip through his cheeks and one of the companions (ra) had to use his teeth to remove it; knowing the realities of the hellfire; and many many other scenarios. Yet in spite of every of the over, the Prophet (pbuh) was known to grin and joke. Once a man asked the Prophet (pbuh) for an animal to ride. He replied that he would give him the baby of a she-camel. The man asked what would he do with a she-camel baby, as he obviously couldn’t ride it. The Prophet (pbuh) replied smiling, “Is there any camel which is not the baby of a she-camel?” (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud) When the Prophet (pbuh) was fleeing Mecca with Abu Bakr (ra) to go to Medina, being pursued by the people of Qureish who wanted to kill him, they hid in a cave. The search party came so close to the cave that Abu Bakr (ra) started to become anxious fearing for the Prophet’s (pbuh) life, but the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) put his trust in God. The Qur’an tells us “…when he [the Prophet (pbuh)] said to his companion: Grieve not, surely Allah is with us. So Allah sent down His tranquillity upon him and strengthened him with hosts which you did not look, and made lowest the word of those who disbelieved; and the word of Allah, that is the highest; and Allah is Mighty, Wise” (Surat Al-Tawba, 9:40) As I write this, two feelings arrive over me; the first is of shame and the other of wish. Shame because we have become stingy with our smiles, even though we know that a grin is an act of charity that is rewarded, and therefore beloved to Allah (swt). We refer to a person who gives a lot of charity as generous; should we not be generous with our smiles? Even if we are feeling down, we receive double the reward for trying to overcome this feeling and not spreading it to others. The true test is how we behave when the right reaction doesn’t correspond with our internal feelings of antagonism. And the feeling of wish comes from the examples the Prophet (pbuh) gave us, and reflecting on how he smiled and spread joy to others, as one of the Companions (ra) narrated, describing him: “Most of his laughing was as smiling; when he did giggle, it was not noisy, and he would show his teeth a bit like they were hailstones.” (Tirmidhi) It is worthwhile to note that there are other narrations of the Prophet (pbuh) always being ‘grief-stricken’. But some commentators have said that this refers to him when he was in prayer with his Lord; when he was with people he always smiled, when he was with his Lord, he was serious. Open Question: How can I deal with my irrational family?

I have a 1986 Jeep Cherokee, and I like it. It needs a lot of work, though, so it's sitting in front of the home. Since my moped broke down, I've had to borrow Dad's car to steer around. But he's always taking the keys, and once he took the keys and couldn't tell me why he took them until he made up a reason several hours later. He's always taking it and using my gas up pulling trees with it and stuff. Mom is always threatening to have a pal of hers arrive and haul off my car as scrap metal, and she's always telling Dad to take it away. My sister hates my dad (always has). She got a job, and today she had to go for her orientation at 1. Well, Dad took the keys. every day, both of use were begging him to give us the keys, and he said for her to take the bus. Well, the bus doesn't run from 12 to 1, so she could either be tardy or EXTREMELY early. Fortunately, a person I know from church was driving today, and he was nice enough to sacrifice a little of his lunch break to take her. This made her hate Dad every the more. Now she's willing to just hand me $150 dollars to fix my car if I arrive up with the other $200 that is necessary. Mom heard about this, and she's flipping out. She says she hates my car, and she wants it off this property right away. She says she will not help me at every in any way whatsoever, and I just said that maybe she doesn't need to use it at every. She keeps saying that she will buy me a car if I receive rid of that, but I'm not playing her games any longer. Several times she has said she will receive me a car, and as soon as I find one, she will go back on it and say she never said that, or she will use it against me in every little thing I do. She will continuously say "well then I won't receive you a car if you do ___." I know that as soon as I receive rid of my old Jeep she will find some reason to not receive me a car, and if she does, she will be a Nazi with it. With my Jeep, my sister plans on just me and her having our names on the title, and not my mom or dad. But I know Mom. If something doesn't go her way, she freaks out. I don't think it's beyond her to have someone haul it off while I'm gone somewhere. How can I deal with her and Dad? Also, how can I make sure my car doesn't go anywhere? We don't have the key to it, so the steering wheel won't turn, but the lock on the gear selector doesn't work, so anyone can just shift it out of park and tug it on a trailer. It's his extra car. He rarely drives it- he has a truck and a motorcycle. My sister is 25.

This might be odd but when some asks you "where are you from?", how far back do you go?? Do you tell them where you were born or where your parents were from. If so, what if your parents are from two separate countries. look my parents were born in Sudan but I was born in Canada but I say I am Sudanese. Even going far back in my family tree, I can say my background is Sudanese. What would you say if your family background was really complicated with no real set country because your family is from every over the map?? Anybody in that situation or have an interesting family background???

Resolved Question: Was it something of my fault that he didn't call me back or am I just over thinking?

So on a weekend trip to Canada with my family, I meet this guy on a tour bus. We got to talking and he mentioned he was in the Navy. Later on he kept talking to me and eventually asked me if I was free that evening to go look the fireworks (it was on July 4th). I had to leave with my family that night so I declined. But he went further to ask me my number, and we exchanged phone numbers. We kept texting about 3 days of the week till 3 weeks later he came to my college and took me out on a date. I had a wonderful time! He was such a gentleman (I guess it was the south carolina in him) haha. But we had lovely conversations. We shared similiar pasts and made each other giggle. After dinner, he did this cute thing that made me fall for him :P I had tripped and was embarrassed over it. He goes "I saw that trip haha" and he walks past me and fakes a trip. I thought it was adorable. Walking to his car, he splashed water on me from a tree branch, and we faked accents, and joked around. He had arrive to the passenger side to receive me into the car. And when we got to my apt, he asked me if I'd be willing to arrive visit him sometime. I said yes and he asked if he could arrive next week. Then he kissed me. It was the sweetest kiss I've ever experienced. I liked him so much in that moment. And we both yelled "byeeee!" back and forth a couple times after I crossed the road haha. But he hasn't texted me back or called me back in over a week. I don't know what to think or feel. I'm ashamed to say that I'm disappointed and unhappy over this. And I've been obsessing on what to feel. Do you have any insightful thoughts? Oh I should mention that I'm 19 turning 20 and he's 25. He was surprised by my age. He said he's never been with a 19 yr old before. His age didn't bother me at every. Guys my age are immature for the most part. I had said "you must think I'm a little kid." And he did say "No, I don't feel that way." He seemed sincere. I'm still confused.

Open Question: If a neighbor's trees extend into our family's lot...?

Our family has been considering going green and adding solar panels to our home. If a neighbor's many trees extend into our yard and block the light, are we allowed to trim the branches to the property line? About half of each tree passes into our property. The trees add to the beauty of the neighbor's home, but leave ours pretty messy looking. Also, if we decide not to install solar panels, can we do this anyway? We have three kids playing outside who could easily receive injured with every the branches. Thanks in advance. :)

Resolved Question: on my family tree i got viking and anglosaxon surnames is it possible norse ancestry ?

my mom is from yorkshire one of her great grandfather came from northumberland i think i need blood test for the scandinavian haplogroup http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haplogroup_I1_(Y-DNA) i noticed anglosaxon had viking haplogroup too my mom looks true germanic lady scandinavian or north german so don't say she is celtic or briton
